Workshops

The workshops took place on May 2021 in Corviale. Thanks to the work done by the three artists: Guendalina Salini, Yaryna Shumska and Maria Angeles Vila Tortosa, we have given life to the new myth of Corviale through a drawing workshop in which goddesses, plants and talismans have taken shape, an experiential creative laboratory on words, memories and invisible parts of Corviale and a printing workshop through which ancient plants with healing powers linked to fertility have been reborn.

These days represented an important moment of meeting and discussion with the community who took part to the workshops: inhabitants of the neighborhood, children and associations from surrounding areas. The artists analyzed and elaborated with the participants the impressions and emotions connected to the place and the concept of femininity and origins, creating a material and immaterial transformation of the Serpentone (as the palace is called).
