Smart Photography

In relation to the will of the Youth Aggregation Center Municipio XIV – Monte Mario to develop a project aimed at the creation of a workshop to be held with children between 12 and 18 years old, CAP – Cities Art Projects has designed the workshop Smart Photography curated by Paola Farfaglio.

Workshops

“Smart Photography” is a workshop designed for young people from 12 to 18 years old that aims to provide the basic concepts of photographic technique. The meetings intend to cover the basic elements of analog and digital photography using analog, digital and smartphon cameras.

Each meeting consists of two parts: a theoretical part in which the main photographic rules and techniques will be introduced, and a practical exercise during which participants will be able to experiment with the medium by employing the acquired notions.

Through this workshop, it aims to provide young participants with the basic knowledge of photography, including through the observation and analysis of shots by professional photographers. Improving their knowledge of the medium is the goal of this activity, stimulating their creativity in order to enhance their ability to express themselves photographically.
