In relation to the will of the Youth Aggregation Center Municipio XIV – Monte Mario to develop a project aimed at the creation of a workshop to be held with children between 12 and 18 years old, CAP has designed the workshop Smart Photography curated by Paola Farfaglio

Workshops

“Smart Photography” is a workshop designed for young people from 12 to 18 years old that aims to provide the basic concepts of photographic technique. The meetings intend to cover the basic elements of analog and digital photography using analog, digital and smartphon cameras.

Each meeting consists of two parts: a theoretical part in which the main photographic rules and techniques will be introduced, and a practical exercise during which participants will be able to experiment with the medium by employing the acquired notions.

The workshop proposes to provide young participants basic knowledge of photography, also through the observation and analysis of shots by professional photographers. The goal is to improve their knowledge of the medium by stimulating their creativity in order to enhance their ability to express themselves photography.

The course includes three modules:

• Light and Movement
• Color and Composition
• Street Photography
